Morocco’s Plans and Insights from the SAFE STADIUM Project

The Moroccan National Focal Point (NFP) expressed its intention to host the TTX and FX at a football stadium in Rabat and in Fun Zone in Marrakech, aligning it with its ongoing efforts to enhance multi-agency preparedness for the African Football Championship in December 2025 – January 2026.

In response, Lubos Trudic (International Security and Emergency Management Institute) presented key findings from the project. He provided insights into CBRN incident and attack response protocols developed during this initiative and showcased a large-scale exercise conducted at LKS Lodz Stadium in Poland. The demonstration highlighted best practices, response coordination models, and critical intervention strategies for high-threat environments.

The presentation was presented as part of EU CBRN COE Project 106 – Table Top, Field Exercises, Simulations and Training for CBRN risks mitigation TTX and FX Planning meeting in Rabat on 27 of March 2025.
